I want to use Mythtv without live TV because my hardware is not enough powerfull. How is it possible to disable it?

You can take it out of the menus easily enough. Search around here for the terms "menu" and "xml".

I think I didn't explain well what I want. Mythtv use livetv but I want to use directtv when I watch tv : is it possible with mythtv ?

yes search for irblaster here and on the wiki. you have to use an irblaster to change the channels on the directtv box.

this doesn't answer to my question I think. My Ir remote is working properly and I can change the channels.

When I use the watch tv function the system record data (live tv). I don't want this I want to display the streaming without any record of it. The same as what you do with the command :

ahhh got you now, but sorry nope it's not possible. (well it's open source, so anythings possible, but you'd have to get very dirty in the code)
