I hate to say this, but your a retard
Mythstream is now installed with R5A22 so the hard work has already been done for you. If you look at MythWeb you should have seen the option there for MythStream.

mythstream does work with it.
make sure you follow the instructions carefully and make sure that you make the link in the correct directory or it will not work
good luck

ok. maby this is dumb, how do i access myth web??
i ahve webmin working flawlessly.
now i want to stream (suposedly its built right in to r5v22)
so just tell me how to access mythweb and i will figure it out
mesa is a dumb ass
all you gotta do is forward port 80 to the myth box, then thpy in your IP and enter the usr/ passwor.
its all good. but dad runs some webservers..... so hes kinda pisses that im useing port 80... any way i can make it some not used port, like 6000 (or something...

most routers have the ability to set external port whatever to point to internal port 80 on said device.

two different plugins I think!
Mythstreamtv for streaming recordings to any computer over the network (built in to R5A22)
Mythstream For playing streaming web content like music
Correct me if i am wrong

You are correct:
Quote: Mythstreamtv for streaming recordings to any computer over the network (built in to R5A22)
Mythstream For playing streaming web content like music
Also, with additional setup and a PVR card, streaming live TV directly from the capture card is also doable via mythstreamtv. (think daytime baseball games at work)
(two unfortunate names)

Does 'any computer' mean only KnoppMyth computers, or can I stream to for example a D-link media box (the one with a wireless connection)?

Well, the size of the D-Link makes it fit nicely under my TV-set..
