I just recieved my Streamzap PC Remote, got lirc compiled and installed. Placed my config files where they needed to be, and mythtv isn't responding to the remote.

I tried irw, and it reads the remote just fine, with all the right button names, etc. I made sure lircd and lircmd were running, but no luck still. Anyone have any input on why myth isn't responding to the remote?

Thanks,
~Matt

With the introduction of R5A22 (and R5A26) the StreamZap should just work (lirc-reconfig.sh).

I'm running R5A16 at the moment. I've been holding off on upgrading to the newer versions to make sure they were stable... but now is as good a time as any. I'll give it a shot and get back to ya. Thanks.

Upgrade = working remote.

[Edit: Video player works now as well, just had to go through this process again... http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4706 ]

Thanks Cesman,
~Matt

Yeah, I'm running R5A22, and got a new Streamzap a few weeks ago. I was shocked at how it worked "just like that" by running 'lirc-reconfig.sh' :lol:
Thanks, Cesman.

Lev.

I'm sure you meant to thank Human as well. It was and continues to be a joint effort. :)
