I have been trying to get my silver Pvr-150 remote to work over the last couple of days, and I have not given up yet.

But the question hit me. What Remote will work with R26 today, right now, with out tweeking change or adjusting anything. You know just install knoppmyth, plug in remote and it works..

My Hauppauge PVR-250 with the grey (cigar shaped) remote just works. I've never tried the silver (peanut shaped) remote for the PVR-150...

BTW - Have you looked at Cecil's sticky thread for working remotes?

I think that yours is the only one that I have seen that just works. I have read that thread, and he is looking for remotes that dont work, but that the user has gotten to work so that he can script it into an up coming version. I hope he finds a way to get my prv-150 silver working.

I've seen lots of people who've gotten both types of remotes to work out of the box. Since the peanut is the remote that has been shipping with all the new Hauppauge cards for months and months now, lots of folks are using it.

Right now it works part time, and when it does work not all of the keys work. I understand that I may need to remap the keys that do not work, but I dont know how to get the remote to work continually.
