I followed elgordo123's instructions from Nov 1st, 2004 here (I mean I downloaded the codecs and recompiled mplayer). But when I want to play a .nsv stream, I have no sound.

Here's the output:
Code:
 /home/mythtv/MPlayer-1.0pre7try2/mplayer http://80.239.137.115:8020/streamtv01.nsv

i found this thread: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php ... id=1798355

i edited my /home/mythtv/MPlayer-1.0pre7try2/etc/codecs.conf
this is what i added at the bottom of the file:

Code:
audiocodec faad
info "FAAD AAC (MPEG-2/MPEG-4 Audio) decoder"
  status working
  fourcc mp4a,MP4A
  fourcc "AAC","AACP","PCAA"
  format 0xff
  format 0x706D
  format 0x50434141
  driver faad
  dll libfaad2

no go... so i recompiled
but make fails with the following message:
Code:
cc  -I. -g codec-cfg.c mp_msg.c -o codec-cfg -DCODECS2HTML
./codec-cfg ./etc/codecs.conf > codecs.conf.h
make: *** [codecs.conf.h] Error 1
