I am thinking about building a KnoppMyth box. What are some suggestions on a motherboard & cpu for the PVR-150 or should I go with a different tv tuner card? I want something decent but I dont want to spend over $150 on the motherboard & cpu. Any suggestions are helpful.

Check Tier 1 configurations and you'll find plenty of working combo's.

Personally I would avoid VIA chipsets in combination with PVR-xxx cards. Browsing the forums will explain why.
