I am trying to figure out if my MSI TV@nywhere plus card will work. I have been searching google, and the best I can find is that there is a patch for Video4linux to make the remote work properly. This appears to be on the Redhat linux list, made on 11 Dec 05. Found here:

So my questions are can I use the card with the latest KnoppMyth CD? I am guessing based on the discussion on the list is that at minimum the card will work. How about the remote? I assume that the kernel provided in the latest KnoppMyth does not include the IR remote patch? If thats the case, can I manually apply the patch, compile, and load a new kernel?
