I was on an older version of Knoppmyth, and for the most part it was running great. I ended up having to move and reset all my channels and the like, so I decided I may as well do an upgrade to take advantage of all the bug fixes and the like. Unfortunatly, after upgrading I can't watch live TV, and if I try the backend seems to crash, or at least the frontend can't establish a connection. All I see is black for about 15 seconds, then it kicks me back out to the main menu. If I try to watch recordings before that, I can, and they play fine.

I've tried installing the firmware again and a couple of other things, but nothing seems to be working right. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

See the Wiki page on http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=CheckingLogFiles, follow the instructions for how get the ivtv info from dmesg, and post it here.
