Is there a reason why the channel grabber for belgium is no longer included in KnoppMyth R5A30.1?

'det, R5A30 has tv_grab_be, tv_grab_be_tlm and tv_grab_be_tvb, so I don't know why there is none in A30.1 (and I don't have an A30.1 install handy to check).

The XMLTV source seems to show a Belgian grabber:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/x ... tv/grab/be

Googling for XMLTV grabber Belgium also revealed other ones written in Python

thanks for the replies,
In the meanwhile I had checked the latest xmltv version, and verified that the be grabber was still in there.

I think I'll manage to add the grabber manually to 30.1, but I asked mainly to know if there was a specific reason why it isn't included in knoppmyth anymore.

I hope I didn't simply looked over it

Hi cesman,

I haven't checked the R5A30.1 release, but the tv_grab_be_tvb and tv_grab_be_tlm grabbers are part of the pytvgrab project, not xmltv.

These were the grabbers you so kindly added on my request. Note that this are also the grabbers that I patches into mythtv svn (should be in mythtv 0.19), so if it was omitted, please re-include it in a future version.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Roel

the tv_grab_be is installed in 30.1, but it doesn't show up in mythtv-setup.
Is there a way I can add it to the list without to much trouble?
In R526 it was included in the list.

tv_grab_be is in the new xmltv indeed, but I did not get a patch into mythtv to support it. In fact, I am running mythtv svn version now and only the pytvgrab variants are in the list.

I even remember testing R5A26, and it not being available, but I could be wrong. Are you quite sure that you could select Belgium in R5A26 ? If so, it must be something that was added to knoppmyth only.

You can rename the grabber you want to use to have the same name as one of the grabbers that show up in the menu (I recommend backup up the grabber you are overwriting first).

Then just use this "new" grabber.

Cheers,

Allen
