Ive fixed it now!

I have been playing with the XF86Config-4 File.

The option that aloud the the menus to function correctly again was.....

"RenderAccel" "true"

I commented that out and it was all working again!

Could a admin person move this to the problems and solutions section pls.

Thanks

I believe that this is a general issue with the Nvidia cards and drivers. It may even be called out in an existing howto.
