Same issues for me.

So...mplayer upgraded with appropriate codecs AND my system is correctly sending all output (except for boot-up of course) out via the 350...is it the video card that is decoding the avi or xvid file or the 350? Or the CPU?

Trying to discern if it is my ATI drivers (or lack thereof) even though I'm not using the ATI card for ANY kind of output. Is the ATI doing the .avi (etc) decoding?
