Hi
I have a miner issue I hope somebody can help me with. When there is white or light colors displayed on the tv screen the right side seems to burn. That is it slowly goes from white to brown. I exit out as soon as it starts. Could this be from the modline settings in my XF86Config-4 file?

My Set is a RCA 27V550T Xbox TV. I'm using the svideo out of a NVIDIA FX 5200 card. I tried changing the VertRefresh from 60 up to 85 but all that did was slow it down.
Thank You ahead of time

Unless you are absolutely certain you TV can handle a refresh rate of 85, you are asking for trouble. This sounds like an issue with your set? Have you hooked up "regular" TV to it and seen how it looks?

did you ever resolve this issue?
I think what you are seeing might be cause by the default TVOverScan setting of 0.8. I set mine to 0.6 and that fixed my issue.

I am using the same video card, and tried changing the TVOverscan down to 0.6, but it didn't help. Burn in occurs on the main menu, with the Watch TV graphic in Illious theme....within approx 10-15 seconds......also get burn in whilst watching TV if a background is light for a sustained period.....when other colours come along it seems to rest the pixels, ending the burn in......anyone got any more ideas ?????
Thanks in advance

I have a similar issue where the bottom right starts going green however it does it when i'm playing on my PS2. I've always put it down to it being quite an old tv.

I have the same problem. If I am playing frozen bubbles or on the desktop (anything with a static image), the left side of my tv starts to experience burn-in and the color fades quite quickly. Any other suggestions?
