What with time being at a premium extreme right now, I'll wait and upgrade with .19, hopefully when I'm back from the road in several weeks!

About a year ago now I read that New York Times article TELEVISION; Steal This Show, about DVR's and such. That article forever changed the way I view media! My thanks to Cecil et al!

I am now able to put a DVD burner in my Mythbox; an NEC 3540a. I realize to watch commercial DVD's the library needs additional files. I did put in a home brewed DVD, and Xine kicked in just fine, but then I can't eject. The Knoppmyth burning scenario doesn't seem to detect the NEC either. I'm not sure what is going on, and have not been able to cipher an answer Googoracle. Could someone point me in the right direction? I'm running R5A26 on a TBird 1400 w/768 DDR, PVR-350, WD 160 LVM'd w/Seagate 250.

Here is my /fstab file:
# /etc/fstab: filesystem table.
#
# filesystem mountpoint type options dump pass
/dev/hda1 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hda3 /cache auto defaults,auto 0 2

proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
/dev/fd0 /floppy vfat defaults,user,noauto,showexec,umask=022 0 0
/dev/cdrom /cdrom iso9660 defaults,ro,user,noexec,noauto 0 0
/dev/cdromhdc /cdromhdc iso9660 defaults,ro,user,noexec,noauto 0 0
# Added by KNOPPIX
/dev/hda2 none swap defaults 0 0
# Added by KNOPPIX
/dev/hdb1 /mnt/hdb1 auto noauto,users,exec 0 0
/dev/vg/myth /myth auto defaults,auto 0 2
/dev/vg/myth /myth auto defaults,auto 0 2

Thanks for any help!

The latest version of knoppmyth (R5A30.2) has a fix for the dvd eject problem. it's quite well known. There are workable fixes you can do yoursel, if you search, you should find.
