Hi people:

ITs been about two weeks and I've allready have MythTV working pretty good, now I'm trying to get all the extras to work right. But it seems that MythTV is hader to configure than, passing Space Quest without the Walkthrough!!!
I know that for some of you this is a REALLLY stupid question, but please help me this is really frustrating... I'm traying to figure out how to download CATVER.INI and copy it to the right directory, but I just dont know how to do it and don't want to spend two more weeks trying to figure out how. I've been to a lot of places on the web but the just say "GO TO... AND DOWNLOAD..." but they don't explain how to do it on KNOPPMYTH, and the dam thing does not even come witha graphical internet browser!!!! can somebody help me for the love of GOD!!!

first that tone doesn't really make anyone want to help you.
second last time I checked all you had to do was touch catver.ini in the right directory (can't remember which on that is at the moment)
third have you tried searching? there are several posts about getting mythgame working and I think they all talk about catver.ini.
fourth knoppmyth does come with a graphical browser it's called mythbrowser and is accessable from the menu.

I did everything that you guys are saying, I only ask for help when a've spent hours on the computer and I have not come up with anything "concrete", because I know that sometimes all you get is bashing when you ask suposedly simple questions. If you search on the web all you get is half answers, they never explain it to you step by step. I could be a NEWBIE but I was able to get my mythtv up and running in about two weeks (with a VIA chipset mitherboard and a Pinnacle PCTV card, not the NVIDIA chipsets or the hauppauge cards which are a lot easyer to configure.) So I guess i'm not that bad. I love MYTHTV I think its an awesome program don't get me wrong... is it hard to configure YES thats why there is so many support for it in the web. Its just hard for newbies to put all the information toghether. And there is not walktrough as with spacequest

Anyway, thanks for your help, they allready told me what I needed to know on another post.

I got everything to work, how do I see the games in FULLSCREEN???
