I'm running 30.2

When I use Mythburn from the web interface, it runs for a while and then dies with the following errors. Any suggestions?

Convert intro image to JPG
Encode intro image to mpg movie

**ERROR: [mpeg2enc] Could not read YUV4MPEG2 header: system error (failed read/write)!

I have a similar problem, but I don't know how to fix it.

Which version of the scripts are you guys using. I think this has already been fixed in the cvs version.

I'm using the stock version that came with 30.2. It also happened with 20.6 as well.

I'm not sure how to check the version. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks,

No idea what version is used in 30.2 but you could try this change it is what was changed in the cvs version.

In file creatintro.sh change the line that reads
Code:
nice jpeg2yuv -v 0 -n $((framerate * 8)) -I p -f $framerate -j \

to
Code:
nice jpeg2yuv -v 0 -n 200 -I p -f $framerate -j \

I'm taking a guess that you are using an old version of the script that hasn't already been changed.

That advice was dead on.

I recorded a quick < 8 minute clip and managed to use mythburn--for the first time!!!

Now I'm off to burn some of my recordings off to disk. With the wife recording so much... I'm running out of 130 gigs way too fast...

Thanks,

A good way of finding the file is using the locate command.
locate createintro.sh
/myth/mythburn/scripts/createintro.sh

thanks,
