Hi

Where could I find the config files of the backend ? I've missed something in the menu of the config, and I don't know how to revert that.
I've choosen the option Xv* capabilities regarding my video adapter and the backend server can not start....

/etc/init.d/mythtvbackend start
If it doesn't start check the log to see why it isn't starting... This problem can be troubleshot in multiple ways and maynot be related to XvMC. XvMC only works w/ nVidia based cards. Did you install the nVidia drivers?

well he may also be talking about the xv output controls that allow you to change the color hue etc and are not tied to xvmc and do work on any card that supports xv, which is most cards that don't use either vesa or framebuffer.
