My previously working KnoppMyth box has become very unstable. I'm probably just going to re-format and re-install and hope for the best.

Before doing that I was hoping to get some pointers towards basic Linux troubleshooting. I've picked up little things like "lspci" and "dmesg" looking in /var/log for anything that might be a clue but a "Linux/MythTV Troubleshooting for Dummies" FAQ would be really appreciated right now.

Anybody know where I could find one?
