Does anyone know how to fix touchy buttons issues with an ATI remote especially using the scroll up one line and down one line buttons?

Also, the mute button works with LiveTV and with my Music Media Player yet it doesn't work with recorded TV. I have my mute button set to F9 in the lircrc file. If I tap F9 on the keyboard while watching recorded TV, the mute function works.

Thanks

I have the same problem with this remote. It's annoying, for example, when I want to skip ahead 3 minutes, and find that the 3 button has inadvertantly registered twice or even three times, so I end up skipping ahead 33 minutes or more.
I think it's a design problem related to 'switch bounce' and as such there's nothing that can be done about it, hardware-wise. But perhaps someone may be able to advise on whether it would be possible to write a script that would prevent a keypress from being recognised within a certain time (eg. 100ms) of another keypress :?:

I am pretty sure this (the repeating keys) is something that is fixed in the upcoming KnoppMyth release. I think that the fix, if you want to do it yourself, involves editing the ATI remote module's source and recompiling the kernel.

You're correct I had to recompile. Actually, I found the solution here.

As for the mute button, I had it defined in two places for two different key commands which must've thrown off MythTV.
