What about http://192.168.1.100/mythweb/

The "/" at the end made a difference for me.

The "AllowOverride All" bit may have undone a lot of the security stuff you were trying to enable.

What do you have in your /etc/apache/httpd.conf?

For some reason, http://192.168.1.100/mythweb gives me "Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand."

But http://192.168.1.100/mythweb/mythweb.php seems to be working fine ...

Not putting a slash at the end of a URL when referring to a directory is an incorrectly-formed URL. Depending on the web server's settings, it will either form it for you correctly (by adding the slash at the end and seeing if you meant to request the index page for the same-named directory), or it won't and you'll get an error.

Here's a page that discusses it.

It has something to do with the Hostname you've entered in apache.conf?

I don't know all the details, but that's where you have to find it.

A question for those folks who are already working with the 0.19 release: When using a PVR-250 can I still record using the "Program Stream" (PS) container format? I've seen some threads that suggest that PS support is gone from 0.19 and that one must use Transport Streams (TS); another thread I read has left me with the impression that this may only apply for DV capture cards. This option is selected in the "capture card" section of the setup utility.

Thanks!

Marc

Is there a public KnoppMyth release that uses the 0.19 milestone, or is it still in testing?

YAY :).

Just a couple of questions:

Since doing "auto-upgrade" will bollox the root partition and replace it with a new one:

1. I'm presently running R5A16. I had to recompile lirc for it to work with the Hauppauge Silver Remote for my pvr-350. Do I have to do so again or is the new lirc you included in this new release have the patch precompiled in?

2. I had to upgrade ivtv to 0.4 & manually set the config files & the firmware for it to work with my dual pvr-350/pvr-150 setup. Do I have to do that again or is the new release pre-configged for such a (relatively common as I understand it) config?

3. How's about somebody put up notes in Knoppmythwiki or somewhere on what to backup (otherthan the default mythconverg, /home & /etc) and stuff before upgrading to the new release?

Thanks for putting up the new release so quickly. It's great.

This was already supported in the last several public releases, what would make you think it's changed?

ivtv 0.4.3 and the recommended firmware come standard. There's also a script which runs during 2nd stage install which sets all the lirc config up for you.

I've posted this info in forums multiple times. Searching for "backup" and tjc as the author should turn up the information quickly.
