I cant get the sound working on my R5B7 (auto) install :oops:

. I have a pvr350 card which I use the s-video in on. I can get sound out through my sound card using mplayer (with an mpeg) but when I watch tv I get no sound whatsoever. The picture is ok however!

This setup used to work with R4Vx so I am not sure what went wrong

. I am not a unix guru, please help me out with this.

As root:

nano /etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv

Remove the part that says "simple=1"
then:

<y>
shutdown -r now
