It's my understanding that the UPnP server CyberMediaGate is included in R5 of KnoppMyth but I am having problems finding anyway to start it or verify it is running. I currently have a DSM-320 that I use with MusicMatch and DLinks own server running on multiple PC's with no problems.
My KnoppMyth installation is R5A30 and is otherwise working great.
Any help or clues would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks so much.
However, after connecting to the video server the shows are listed but I either get a flashing stop icon and eventually a message that says "End of Video. Select OK to exit" when I press the right arrow key or I get "Unable to open the file" when I select a video and press play button.
I'm guessing this is because of an incompatible file format for the DSM-320. Perhaps the bitrate or resolution. Any suggestions?
Thanks again!

I copied one of the videos to my Windows PC and made available via DLinks server with no problems. CyberMediaGate still would not play it.
Maybe unrelated but I tried to watch a video recorded during my playing around with this and it was pixelated and eventually errored out (stopped playing).
Thanks!

A network trace using Ethereal shows an Notify going out and it displays briefly in the DSM-320's list of available servers. But then it quickly disappears. If I select it before it disappears I can get connected and a list of videos display but playing any of them gives the same errors as before.
Does anyone have CyberMediaGate working successfully?
My guess is no based on the lack of activity related to this feature.
Thanks!

I downloaded the CyberLink MediaGate Java version and compiled and executed on my laptop. I then copied a mpg file from the MythTV device and served it up and everything worked just fine, excellent in fact.
Could this be a firewall issue or something on the MythTV device that videos won't play?
Thanks!
