Has anyone tried the DVICO dual tuner cards at all. They have a Conexant CX2388x chipset and (I believe) they are supported. Also any pointers or special settings required to get it to work. I am thinking of buying one because my DVICO DVB-T lite works really well.

**UPDATE**
Here is a link tp the product

http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/ENG/Product ... gital.aspx

I recall reading about kernel boot options needed for dual tuners ???

Thanks..

Hi weblst,

I to was havin the same problem and I think I have found the answser to it.

1. Go here: http://www.linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.ph ... rted_cards

2. Click on Supported cards

Then you will see a link that says Hg version of the kernel documentation (Click it)

3. Scroll down that list and what do you see none other than the "DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital"

Let me know how you go with it.

Thanks.

:-)

I have exactly the same idea on my mind.

I have been fighting with that Hauppauge Nova-T with no luck.
It seems that the particular card i have, has no DVB support on kernel i have... So otherwise i should re-kernel or re-card my box to get i working... grrr...

Now i have latest Suse + latest mythtv packages on it.

And sutch a n00b i (still) am , i wish that the solution would be something simple, like switching a card...

AND I would get dual tuner on the same fuzz, witch is nice (=

AND my tight Pundit-R would´t be so full of heating DVB-cards afterwards (= witch would not fit in anyway )=

Mike

I have been running knoppmyth with a dvico lite, but wish to also add a dvico dual tuner that is spoken of in the article. I can not find if anyone has gotten this to work, and whether it would work with trhe lite card. i.e. 2 cards plugged in 1) Dvico lite and 2) Dvico dual digital.

What steps need to be taken to have these set up, or will they autodetect. I have also heard about passing parameters, but have not found instructions how to.

I had a similar trouble when I had to set up a system using the DVICO DVB-T Hybrid... you need to update v4l to the lates cvs release and then it should just auto detect and you set it up as usual in myth-setup

go to http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb click on tree at the top then bz2 to download the latest cvs... extract the file and then do a make followed my make install and you should have the latest v4l/dvb

that is how i got my DVB-T Hybrid working and it is based off the same Conexant CX2388x chip I believe
