I'll never again be mean to another newbie on a forum again, since this is my second helpless problem

So I tackled my previous weird card misdetection problems as of the new ivtv (thought it was a 250 sometimes on boot). But here's the latest source of my hell:

All my channels are off by one. I change to channel 38 (ESPN) and it's showing the programming content for Channel 39. By proxy, if I ask it to record channel 11, it'll record channel 12 for the duration of the program listing for channel 11.

The only way I can fix this is to force a refresh of the mythtv database. Any idea why this is happening?

Did you drop and recreate you capture card definitions after upgrading?

Oh and check the channel table to make sure the first three numbers "match". The first one will be +1000 or +2000, ... based on your video source id. I just described how to go through this for someone else within the last week or two.
