Hi evryone... I'm hoping you can help me with some BIG headaces I'm having getting my Compro VideoMate DVB-T200A card working.

Have been banging my head for the better part of the last week...
Am pretty much a COMPLETE Linux noob, so appoligies for any *onvious" questions asked.

I'm pretty sure my problem has been related to incorrect drivers but am having a damn hard time sorting it out.

Have lastly been folowing the V4L Wiki for the T-200A here: http://www.linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/Compro_VideoMate_T200a and it's CVS build instructions here: http://www.linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/How_to_build_from_CVS

Get to the make section and it errors on: /root/v4l-dvb/v4l/micropcm20-rds-core.c:21:25: linux/mutex.h: No such file or directory

plus some additional function declaration errors and such???

Has this .h been excluded from the kernal or something? or should it just be a case of me downloading it from somewhere and putting in with the source files for the build?

am using Knoppmyth Release 5 Alpha 30 which states Kenel2.6.13.2-chw-3 (aparently the version required per the wiki)

sorry for the long post... it's taken me a long time with LOTS of problems, rebuilds, swapping hardware, etc.. etc.. etc.. to get to this point, so am hoping the V4L wiki give me the good juice once I get past this error message..

Thanks - Damian

I'd suggest try this with the latest release. Due to changes w/ V4L/DVB, you'll probably find that it is easier to build w/ 2.6.15.

actualy I had tried the latest release first - no good either?

I only scalled back due to the comment in the wiki.

Has anyone else had this problem?? Hoping I'm not the only one trying to get this card working under Knoppmyth.
