What version of the ivtv driver are you running? You can find the version by looking in /var/log/messages -- look for "ivtv".

It was in my original post....ivtv 4.0.

I've already read through the changelog up to 4.4, and nothing seems to address this bug. When I get a chance, I was planning on upgrading anyway...perhaps this weekend.

A data point...

Occassionally on R5A16, there would be an error from the capture card ivtv driver as a show was being recorded. You could find it in the system logs, but NOT the myth tv logs. If such an error occured, the recording would end at that point, but until you played it Myth would *think* it was a complete recording.

I've recently upgraded to R5B7 which included updated PVR500 drivers and have not seen this problem re-occur.
