Setting up R5C7 with my PVR-150 was pretty much a no brainer. Good job dudes!

However, the PVR-150's IR Blaster doesn't seem to talk either of my Time Warner Digital Cable boxes. I've done test all/scan all in windows and linux to no avail. The light blinks like crazy, but nothing happens. I have a Pioneer Voyager HDTV and a Sci-Atlanta Explorer 3100HD. Both show as supported in the master list from Hauppauge.

Any ideas? What are the chances that maybe the transmitter is broke, but the light still works? Is there a clever way to test to see if this thing is truly operational?

Looking for some help here you will notice the last line not sure why it is not being found on boot. This is a fresh C7 install with a PVR150 irblaster model.

The reciever and blaster are not working but I am assuming if right at bootup the device is not being seen by lirc then the problem lies there. Irrecord see's no hardware either.

Any ideas appreciated.

As I mentioned, I was able to send power commands to the transmitter no problem in windows and linux. I have problems somewhere else.

Even though the light was blinking, it was still a bad cable. Hauppauge sent me a new one that works great.
