I have searched various wiki's and other sites and forums for the past couple days and cant find any info on this problem...

I want to change the tree softing in the music section to directory... I go into the setup just as every howto says to and change the tree sorting to Directory... however when I do this nothing changes at all... I just setup a new installation and even then I am having the same problem.. no matter what setting I change the tree sorting to nothing actually changes..

has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas on how to fix it??

I just use xmms. At some point I hope someone more ambitious than me, will graft
a powerful and intuitive interface on to mythmusic to better handle large collections.

I would love to see something where it kept track of how often a track was played
and would built playlist on the fly when I weighted certian catagories using something
like a slider bar. Say.. classic rock with a touch of blues and dab of jazz. --
