 Post subject: yle subtitles problems

I live in finland, our Yle uses subtitles in stream. With Myth-tv i can watch and record these subtitles, but why cant i burn them to dvd (with mythburn), or how can i activate text-tv, because these channels use also text-tv subtitles (pages 451-455).

Please help

I cannot say offhand if MythTV support text-tv... You should probably ask in the MythTV mailing list.

I have a problem, that my subtitles are lost also in recordings, live-tv works well. mythtv-users list has some post that say that subtitles are lost when transcoding the mpeg. That might be your problem and maybe mine too.
