Hello,

Is there a way to view where the commercial cuts are for a recorded TV show? referrably the time base bar would show a different color for the commercial segments. I have a few shows / channels that seem to have problems with the commercial detection, and would like some way, while watching a show, to see if the commercial cuts are "probably" correct. It wouldn't be perfect, but at least I would be able to see that there was a 15 minute block that will be skipped if I jump past the commercials. Maybe a different OSD theme or something?

Thanks,

Tim

Hit E to go into edit mode, shows where they are cut, can change them, etc.

Getting into edit mode doesn't automatically show the commercial cutlist (at least in R5C7). You have to load the cutlist by hitting 'Z' when in edit mode.

Then you can jump around the cutlist (with the left and right arrow keys) and check the cutpoints. Up and down arrows will increase/decrease the time interval of the jump.

Thanks for the tips. I turned on the commercial notification and it looks like the commercial were detected correctly.

After researching my ATI remote config I figured out that the keys E and F are programmed for "PgUp, Q" and "PgDown, Z". In the TV Playback PgUp and PgDown are configured to JUMPRWND and JUMPFFWD which seems to override the Q and Z config. So instead of jumping to the end of the commercial break (as I was expecting), it was jumping ahead 10 minutes.

I am going to try changing the key bindings for JUMPRWND and JUMPFFWD to see if the remote keys will work the way I expect them to.

Thanks again,

Tim
