hi, long time no post... thats BC i havent had any problems :)/

but now i have a hardware question.
i got a hold of a few xbox dvd remote dongles... i have moddified them all, and have tested them all. here is the link for those interested.

now, i want to put one of theeese units on my myth box (useing the wireless KB is a pain in the ass.)

but is it suported? is there even a linux driver (i assume so, because i KNOW it works for xbox linux)

well, i googled and cant find a driver, but many reports of it working for xbox linux.

so i assume that it is built it... i am asking if that same driver (or a compatible one) is built in to knopmyth

I know nothing about xbox linux, I've no interest in the xbox. My guess is that this is either via LIRC or perhaps a USB module. You'll need to do the legwork on this...

ok, ill ask around some more.. i dont have access to an xbox (PC gameing FTW!!!) so i cant actully install it.. but i shall do more googeling around.

i did more work, and i found this

"The "Xbox DVD playback kit" can be used as an IR remote controller inside Xbox-Linux using the LIRC project (use the driver from the Xbox-Linux project)"
