In /etc/init.d there's a set_ivtv_params that references some dummy cfg's in
/etc/sysconfig/ivtv. Are these used by anyone, or what ? I haven't seen these
mentioned before.

Another avenue to explore. I'll search for info on it and look at 'em more closely. I didn't even know they were there until I saw them referenced in some post I ran across on some board out there.
I'm making a group of tips and things I pick up; I make a file and copy the info into it and place it in the appropriate category (ivtv, sql, X, etc....).
Just possibly, I can help someone else one of these days !
