I just added a second hard drive to my computer. It is set as slave.

Upon restart, MythTV will not play live video (black screen for about 30 seconds, then back to main menu), and can not find any recordings in the media library.

I have checked in /myth/tv and all of my recordings are there.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

You have said nothing except you added a second hard drive... and is it being used to keep the case warm or is there more information coming soon?

What did you have before, what did you add and what is the overall plan / goal? What is it running on?

The guys need information to be able to even think about being able to assist.

Mike

Also, please do not post the same thing multiple times in different subforums. (this same post also appears over in installation here - http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10839) The people most likely to help you will see it anywhere it's posted, and the duplication is just clutter.

I would like to use it for additional storage with LVM. I have not run the script yet, because I'm not sure if I screwed something up.

Both drives work fine (I can access both).

(the reason this was posted twice is because I noticed the previous section said off topic posts would be deleted. I was worried the last post would be deleted, so I found a better place to post this question.)

I would try removing the drive and then seeing if your problem goes away. The addition of a drive may have just coincided with another problem...

Also, try running the frontend from a console window and see if you get any error messages when the live tv crashes. This helped me identify a problem with a missing graphic the other day. To do this, exit from the frontend, right click on the desktop and choose xshell. Then type mythfrontend at the prompt.

[fixed right click vs left click error, thanks for the heads up Mike]
