sgunther just posted this: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11050

Also is that a Via chipset on that motherboard? See the "Hardware to Avoid" sticky for some info related to DMA problems there.

Ok... I got it (kinda) working... but it was a weird way to do it.

I remember i used to be able to get at least static with green (before I knew how to edit the to edit the tuner settings in the modules.conf file)

then i just remembered that I changed out the LAN card cause the old one couldnt connect to the internet (for some reason) so I was sitting here thinking, "maybe I should try swapping it back out" so I replaced the new one back with the old one.

What do you know, the error went away and I can watch some tv but some channels are missing cause now I cant download from zap2it, to download the channel list.

I dunno its justs weird.

Im gonna try a few more things but if you can think of a way maybe that my old LAN card can work please let me know (its a Linksys LNE100TX).

Don't know enough about the settings required for the BTTV drivers but it sounds like the change in LAN card is disrupting one of your "bus addresses", i.e. - the PCI address, the port assignments, the interupts, the DMA range, ... If any of those are coded into the BTTV config files you may need to adjust them.
