I'm looking for a tv-card that works in KnoppMyth.
I need this funktions on the card.

*Dubble tuners
*Mpeg4 (Divx,Xvid) decoding
*DVB-S

No such thing that I'm aware of. Neither encoding or decoding.

The only supported double tuner cards are the Hauppauge PVR-500s.

That card is a DVB card. You should have specified that you want a DVB card in your list. Otherwise people will assume you want analogue.

I don't see any indication that the Pinacle board mentioend above does any decoding at all.

You're correct. I read the first line (dual tuners) and immeditly thought analogue. Sorry for the confusion.

Acording to my the store I brouge the card, the card can decode xvid.

What's "xvid"? There is no mention of it on the Pinnacle web site.

It's quite possible that the included PVR software can decode all sorts of container file formats, transport streams, and contains a variety of audio and video codecs.

I see no indication in any of the documentation I can find for the card that that the card can decode anything at all. It doesn't have a video output connector, so it would make very little sense to put video decoding hardware on the board.

Even if the board _did_ have decoding hardware, it would in all likelyhood be for the transport stream and codecs used by DVB broadcasters. That would be MPEG2, and IIRC more recently MPEG4 -- not xvid or divx or quicktime or the windows-codec-of-the-week.

Why would a DVB tuner card include divx decoding?
