Hi all, please advise me.
I updated to R5C7 without problems. All works except
using the EPG to record .
I can watch tv and record from live tv.
When i try to record from program scheduler normally i have a s written
in the colum. now i get nothing when trying to schedule a program.
Please help me.
Is this a database error?
It seems that the program schedular is not communicating with tv card to start recording.
PS my epg is filled with external xml file from xmltv grabber working perfectly on previous version.

Did you accidentally or intentionally rename the machine during the upgrade? This tends to play hob with certain things in the DB. If so you might be able to recover by making a backup (as a safe, easy way of geting a DB dump), editing all occurance of the old hostname to the new hostname in that dump, and doing the DB part of the restore. If this turns out to be your problem, and that last bit isn't obvious from reading the /usr/local/bin/mythrestore script, ask again and I'll provide more details.

dear tjc,
i did not change the computername when updating...

when looking in mythconverg with webmin
in table cardinput
i see cardinput value 0 and for sourceid value 0
is this sourceid value 0 normal
i updat my epg with mythfilldatabase --file 1 ( for sourceid) -1 file.xml --update
could it be the wrong source id in the tables of mythconverg and is the cardid 0 correct value?
(I have only one card 500mce with double tuners)
