Yesterday I finished an upgrade from R5A16 to R5C7, with the help of the thread in the Hints and tips forum. Nice work!
However, there is one issue I haven't found an answer to yet.
I use a wired network card (eth0), and use DHCP to get ip address and so on. Because I'm familar with 'dhclient' (I know how to make it behave like I want it to), I want to run that instead of 'pump'. When doing the installation, I just killed pump and did 'dhclient eth0' which works for now. But my guess is that when I reboot the box, it will use pump again.

How do I change the R5C7 box so that it uses dhclient instead of pump permanently?

I have searched extensively, both on Google and in the forums here but haven't found the answer yet. I must be using wrong search terms.

tingo - Please don't repost the same question mutiple times. You can get the same effect by bumping the original thread as you did here. Repeatedly posting the same question is very spam-like and just fills the forums with clutter. Oh, and Cecil hates it.

Note that I didn't folow up in the other thread so you have a chance to go back and delete it (which can be done by clicking on the X in the upper right corner of any trailing post which belongs to you).
