Hi,

Here's a possibly pretty dumb question:

I have a cable box and an 'analog' cable signal coming in. Is it possible to configure the 350 so that I can use either the analog input (through the tuner) AND the digital input from the cable box (through an s-video input), on the same card?
I was thinking of something where e.g. mythtv channels 1-99 are for analog, and 100+ are for digital.

Cheers,

Mark

Yes, although you can only record from one of them at a time. You'll need two seperate video sources associated with the two different inputs so that MythTV know when to switch inputs. You'll also need to set up some way to control the cable box for the digital channels.

Excellent!
I do have my irblaster working, so I can tell the cable box to change channels.
But how do I view the s-video IN on the PVR350? I thought I had it worked out, but no cigar.... :(
Thanks!

If you have not changed any keybindings, then the C key should change inputs on your current capture card. If you have (or add in the future) another capure card the Y key changes capture cards.
