Right now I'm running a combo front/back machine using a PVR-150. I'm using the remote from the PVR-150. I'm working on building a frontend machine as well. I'd like to use a remote for the frontend, but I don't need a tuner card there. What remotes have y'all had good luck with?

I'm pretty happy with the ATI Remote Wonder. Picked one up from eBay for £10, plugged in the USB radio unit (it uses radio rather than IR so has a better range), ran lirc-reconfig.sh from a shell and that was it!

Have since tweaked the lirc config file a bit to taste, and its centre-joypad thing still feels a bit odd and gives the occasional double-action response, but overall it's good.
