I played with MythTV along time ago I think it was the .12 build that I used. At that time the PVR-250 and 350 just started getting support using the IVTV driver. I wasn't happy with the quality of MythTV at that time.

I've decided to give it another try this time I also have a AvermediaHD A180 card which I would like to use with my PVR-350. Does MythTV support two input types... ex. getting FTA OTA HD Programming AND basic cable service using the PVR-350?

If the answer is yes, Would I be able to select which input to use for different channels? Ex. watch TV on the PVR-350 Primarily, but when I change to NBC it will switch to the NBC Channel on the HD tuner?

Thanks

Yes, Mythtv will support multiple cards/input. I've never seen MythTV switch to the HD channel if that channel exist on both cards (as both cards should have different channel numbers). Is this is happening to you (I cannot tell from reading your post)?

No I haven't set it up just yet... I'm gathering information on the new version. I used it a long time ago not anymore.

That makes sense the HD Channels would be like 10-1,10-2,10-3. I'm guessing there's still ways you can delete channels. I could delete channel 10 which would be the same channel as 10-1 on HD. (Providing 10-1 and 10 are both NBC,etc on both tuners) that would do exactly what I want it to do. Thanks
