I'm new to myth and linux, my system has an ATI Radeon 9600 video card and I am trying to get tv out to work. At the moment when I connect it to my tv, the tv displays nothing at all In the pamphlet it says to look at /usr/src/ATi, in it I find:
fglrx-control_8.28.8-1_i386.deb
fglrx-driver_8.28.8-1_i386.deb
install.sh

what do I do with these files?

Thanks

As reference for others who come across this message, you should follow instructions from this post instead of using those drivers if you want to use TV Out:

http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11896

Though if you don't care about using TV Out and want to use the included drivers, you need to execute:

aticonfig --initial --overlay-type=Xv

Or the video will skip.
