When I select Watch TV the screen blinks.

I have a PVR350 with KM R5C7.

Reading through the forum I think it has to do with Myth-Setup Configuration.
I'm having trouble figuring out how my myth-setup should be configured. I can't find simple description/example.

1. [default settings]
2. Capture Card Setup [IS THIS GOING INTO THE CARD OR OUT OF THE CARD]
- Should this be Composite0 or Tuner?
3. Set up Zap2It - Named listingsSource
4. Input Selections [IS THIS GOING INTO THE CARD OR OUT OF THE CARD]
- link composite0 to listingSource(Tuner)
or link tuner to listingSource(Composite0)
5. [default settings]

Very frustrating.

Great. Now I feel confident that my selections are coorect.

Still a problem though...
When I run mythfilldatabase I notice a line near the end that says it cannot resolve datadirect.webservices.zap2it.com

Any thoughts?

I think that is a normal error message from DD I always have errors when i am updating the info.
I have the H350 card
When I configure it I always use a static address for eth0 which I then fill in on the cofiguration page where you see the 127.0.0.1 in two areas on the same page.
I always use tuner0 which is where the input is coming from if I connect with cable and output to tv with sVideo
You might want to try tuning to channel 3 with your Haupauge remote ( are you comming off a cable box)? If you are and you aren't using an IRblaster you will need to make sure your card is on channel 3 or 4 so that the signal shows up.
Hope this helps a bit.

Have you been all through the troubleshooting page on the wiki? http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php? ... WatchingTV

Duh, my zap2it password was mistyped. Also, I realized I could not ping outside my LAN so I reran the netcard config utility.
Currently, I'm using DHCP with no static IP set.

I tried 'scan for channels' and - SUCCESS! I can get channels when I Watch TV!!!

I still need to figure out how to get the program guide to work.

Yes, I've read through that. Very frustrating.
It's written as a brief overview and assumes the reader has knowledge about the whole process.

For instance. It seems strange to select Tuner0 for both Video Source and Input Connections. I would assume one is an input and the other an output.

Oh well, I'll be happy when it's working.

Do not scan for channels if you're using zap2it. It'll roach your lineups and make a giant mess. Fixing this is also covered in that troubleshooting check list.

Maybe I should reinstall again. This will be maybe the 12th time. Grrr.

No need to go there. The mythtvsetup utility will let you drop and re-add all of your "Video Sources". Just don't forget to redo the "Input Connections" and rerun mythfilldatabase afterwards as the mythtv user.

We don't generally recommend the reinstall unless you've done something wacky like "apt-get upgrade" ("update" OK, "upgrade" very, very bad.) ;-)
