Guys here is what I have at home and what I want to do.I have a server set up with samba [xandros 4.0] I have a dell optiplex gx240 connected to my flatscreen tv in my office I have a tv in my bedroom and in my family room, each one has a optiplex gx240 each optiplex has a pentium 4 1.8 gig cpu and 1 gig ram. The server has a 500 gig drive.I want to install mythtv or knoppmyth on each pc Can it stream the media from the server? Also I have direct tv satellite service [ new jersey] What tv tuner card can I use?
I need help I did have a working knoppmyth system several years ago but that pc has long crashed.
