I just recently purchased the HD Direct TV Receiver and the picture on my RCAHD61LPW42 inch HD TV was amazing. Yesterday I was channel surfing and I noticed that the color green was all over the picture.
I turned the high Def channels the sea was a shade of green. The picture is darker and the damm
color green is indented on the screen. I checked my component cables I even switch them.
I also put a DVD in my player and the green was in there too. Can any one help me I don't want to call for service for some thing minor. I would appriciate any help on this matter..

Sounds like your TV is having trouble. Doesn't sound minor either. Check all sources and if you've got green everywhere, definitely DO call for service. It's not a Myth issue for sure, if you've got it on DVD. But use the TV's tuner as the reference for making the call, else they'll say "myth what?"

BTW, I thought it was happening to me too! We rented "The Aviator" a few months ago, and the movie is shot in different techniques to match what was available during the varioius phases of Hughes's movie making career. For a while, there was no green at all! Grass looked blue, etc. Some sort of two-tone process. Cool, but scary!
