trying to set up r5d1 on an old compaq 1ghz P4 with Nvidia 5200, PVR 250 and 320gb HD.

set up went ok but now I am looking for help with wifi options.

is a PCI card better or a wireless bridge?
I have a d-link DL-624 wireless router so could I stay with D-link with my myth box?

What would be the easiest to plug and go?

I had an Edimax wireless card that I spent several hours trying to get work unsuccessfully.

I ended up going to bestbuy and picking up a 'wireless gaming adaptor' (which a bridge with a different name), and have had NO issues with it.

It is much less of a hassle to use a bridge

Thanks. I assume if one uses a bridge then Lynksys vs D-Link makes no difference?

Most likely shouldnt matter, but I have heard that same brands tend to get slightly better speeds (but i have not confirmed it).

FYI, I got the Linksys WGA54AG and it does not support WPA, so I had to switch everything over to WEP.
