I bought one of these cards off the recommendation of several posts here. It seems to run very very hot. If anyone else has a card like this, does it run hot? or do I have a dud? It seems to work, but I didn't expect it to use so much power.
Right now I have a fan pointed at it, but is there a way to reduce the power consumption (heat) when it's not active?

Yeah, the air2pc card does run hot. I've had one for about a year now and haven't had any problems with it - but yes it is quite hot to the touch.

I run 2 of these cards in pci slots right beside each other. I also have had no issues. However I did add a case fan, to blow across them. But again, even when they were hot, they had no performance issues. If you find a way to "tweak the hardware" to keep them cooler, please post again with the results.

air2pc cards are the r0x0rz.

Nothing like free HDTV!!!!!
