Did the problems with HD on Athlon chips get resolved? When I tried an HD clip on my system, it maxxed out the cpu and still had problems.

As far as I know the problem still exists. He did however offer a suggestion, that I have used, and now Standard Playback with One Field de-interlacing is bearable. I am using this on my R5D1 AMD64 3400+ Laptop with .20a tarballs from mythtv.org
Run:
Code:
apt-get update

Code:
apt-get install mpeg2dec

To get the latest version. It has some fixes in it for AMD64.

Best of Luck. I know Human will figure it out. :D

I think I'll jus' wait, then. I don't have any HD setup, so there's no rush for me.
