I can't seem to find where MythTV stores the username & password for MythWeb.

I've tired this:
Code:
# cd /var/www
# htpasswd -c htpasswd mythtv
New password:
Re-type new password:
Adding password for user mythtv

And that didn't seem to work.

Any ideas?

looks like MythWeb actually stores the passwords at /var/www/htdigest

I seem to be answering my own questions as I go along here- LOL

I'm having a similar problem. Can you tell me what you did to fix this.

Since upgrading to .20 mythweb was unprotected. I created a new httpd password file and now I get the following error when trying to log in.

------------

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

-----------

The log file then states the following:

[Tue Oct 31 21:38:06 2006] [crit] [client 192.168.1.2] configuration error: couldn't check user. No user file?: /mythweb/

I'm sure I've created it, but I'm obviously doing something wrong.

Any help would be appreacitated

Simon
