Hey everyone, Not sure if this is in the right place or not. but i have a slight problem with my IR Blaster. I have Motorola DCT2224 Digital Cable box (Serial port not enabled), and the IRBlaster is working, well sort of :) it is sending the channel numbers to the DCT however it appears to not be sending the "OK" button so it doesn't actually change the channel. I am using R5D1 and the default channel_change.sh script. However have no idea what the issue could be.

Any thoughts?

I dont think that the default channel change script sends an OK. You need to edit the channel change script and add it if your box requires it. This could perhaps be done in the script for those systems that need it. The problem is, I dont know which systems need it.

Okay figured it out. I added the following to my channel_change.sh after the first done
Code:
/usr/bin/irsend --device=/dev/irblasterd SEND_ONCE $REMOTE_NAME OK
done

Thanks everyone

You may have a problem with that on channel #'s with 3 digits because you will send an ok ofter the channel is changed. On my box this brings up the browse box. Your software may be different and it may not be a problem. If this happens to you then look in your dct setup for a setup called auto-tune. Turn this on and the box will change channels after a few seconds.
