KnoppMyth R5D1 with 0.20-fixes compiled from SVN.

When I watch live tv, it appears as a recording in my list. Change channels and a new recording appears (lots of small segments). How do I get rid of this and put the live tv recording back in cache or where ever it belongs?

That's normal behavior. It was changed from the previous behavior so that if you are watching live tv, you can keep it or hit the record button to have myth finish recording it.

In the previous design, anything over the cache was automatically lost, which could prevent you from scanning back to the start of the show or saving the entire show if you decided to save it.

Live tv is expired before regular recordings though, so you don't need to worry about them.

Yuck! This could have been implemented more elegantly for sure. I don't want my recordings list to be slammed with a bunch of little segments from someone channel surfing. At the very least, they should be deleted if the user does not press record before changing the channel.

Is there any way to change this behavior?

It's a feature. There was quite a bit of discussion about this around when 0.19 came out, uniform handling of all recordings buys you a lot of very cool possibilties, and the expiration rules for live recordings are very well thought out and work very intuitively. If seeing them in the list bothers you, you can go into the settings screens and turn it off. Hang on while I find the menu path... OK it's:

Utilities/setup -> setup -> tv settings -> playback -> 4th screen

Thanks. I'll check that out.
