Hello,

I've been using a knoppmyth system with a PVR150 for a year and have finally taken the plunge and got a freeview aeriel installed and added a Nova-T card to my setup.

My problem is that I can't work out how to configure the input connections/channels so that I see only a single BBC1,BBC2 etc for both the analogue and digital.

I've managed to configure the card seperately but this gives me two of all the common channels.

I've had a look around the forum but can't find anything, someone must have a similiar setup?

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, wasn't sure where to put it.

I'm using a similar setup (2x Nova-T & 1xPVR350 connected to a cable STB). As far as I can see the situation what you see is what is supposed to happen, each Video Source (Channel Set) is going to be different for each different type of Capture Card.
In my case I have 2 video sources, Freeview & Telewest, in "Input Connections", the Freeview Source is connected to both of the DVB cards, and the Telewest source is connected to the Composite1 Input of the PVR350.
I have defined the Freeview channels to be in the 1-999 range and the Telewest channels to be in the 1000-1999 range.

Hope this helps

Bruce S.

Thanks for the response,

I think i've solved the problem now. I've set it up similiar to how you describe with a video source for analogue TV and one for digital and made the connections to the cards.

To avoid having duplicate channels I've set the channel name, station identifier and number to exactly the same for both sets of channels.

In the frontend the program guide no longer shows duplicates and a quick test tonight confirms that it will record on both cards so that BBC1,BBC2 etc can be recorded on either card depending on which is in use.
